Tim GRIFORTIK Berhasil Menjadi Best Performance di School Contest XV GenZVerse
Teriakan kebahagiaan mewarnai Atrium Kediri Town Square pada malam puncak final party School Contest XV GenZVerse, Minggu malam (17/9). Kumpulan anak berbaju hitam yang tak lain adalah siswa SMK PGRI 2 Kediri itu bersorak dan berpelukan setelah nama mereka disebutkan sebagai peraih juara Best Performance Tingkat SMA ajang kreasi pelajar terbesar di Jawa Timur itu.
School Contest XV GenZVerse merupakan ajang kreativitas untuk para pelajar yang diadakan oleh Jawa Pos Radar Kediri. Terdapat banyak lomba di dalamnya, diantaranya Mading Wars, Dance Competitions, School English Star, Band Competition, SC Cup Mobile Legends, Short Video Competition, dan Photography. Tim GRIFORTIK dalam perlombaan ini mengikuti perang mading 3 dimensi dengan tema Time Traveler.
Konsep mading 3 dimensi yang diambil adalah tentang tempat bersejarah yang ada di Kabupaten Kediri dan saat ini digunakan sebagai tempat wisata. Konsep tersebut berkaitan dengan tema Time Traveler yang dapat membawa kita ke masa lalu dan memberikan informasi tentang masa depan. Tempat sejarah yang diambil yaitu Petilasan Sri Aji Jayabaya, Arca Totok Kerot, dan Gunung Kelud. Dari ketiga objek tersebut mitosnya masih dipercaya masyarakat Kediri hingga saat ini. Tujuan dari konsep tersebut agar Gen Z lebih mencintai sejarah dan melestarikan budaya Jawa yang merupakan warisan leluhur.
Ide yang didapat tersebut merupakan kolaborasi antar tim, dari bapak ibu guru yang terlibat dan dari siswa yang ikut lomba. Bahan yang digunakan dari bahan-bahan daur ulang, mulai dari kardus, bungkus top coffee, triplek, karton, sedotan, koran, sak semen, brambut, dedak, mesin mainan kereta api, dan dipenuhi dengan warna agar lebih hidup.
Dalam proses pembuatannya, tentu menemui beberapa kendala. Namun, dengan adanya kesolidan tim, semua kendala dapat diatasi dengan baik. Salah satunya yaitu kesulitan dalam berkoordinasi dikarenakan bentrok dengan KBM (Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar) di kelas dan perbedaan pendapat antar satu tim.
Kali ini tim lomba tidak hanya dari anggota Grifortik (Grida Forum Jurnalistik), melainkan kolaborasi dengan Grida Shooting, yaitu Sherly (XII OTKP 1), Nova (XII AK 1), Lisa dan Intan (XI KL 2), Erika (XI KL 1), Navisa (X AK 3), Kevin (X DKV 1), dan Teo (XI DKV 1). Mading ini terbentuk dengan memakan waktu sekitar 3 minggu untuk menyelesaikan prospek 25%, mulai dari penyusunan konsep hingga merealisasikannya dalam bentuk 3 dimensi.
Contest tahun ini berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya. Kali ini, siswa harus membuat sendiri mading secara on the spot di Atrium Kediri Town Square pada Senin (11/9) tanpa bantuan pihak mana pun. Siswa diberi waktu 6 jam untuk menyelesaikan mading dan terdapat penilaian pada proses pembuatannya.
“Tidak lupa dengan kesolidan tim dan bantuan dari Bapak/Ibu guru, sehingga tercipta mading 3 dimensi yang sangat keren dan tampilan maskot yang memukau. Maskot yang ditampilkan yaitu tentang kisah Dewi Kilisuci dan Lembu Suro yang berupa drama diselingi dengan tarian. Para penonton dan juri sangat terhibur,” terang Bu Devi selaku salah satu pembina tim.
“Perasaan kami tentu sangat bahagia, terharu karena apa yang kita usahakan kita perjuangkan akhirnya membuahkan hasil. Semoga ke depannya tim GRIFORTIK bisa lagi mengikuti event School Contest ini dengan kerja sama yang lebih baik, konsep yang lebih menarik, dan tentunya berharap dapat membawa kemenangan lagi,” kenang Sherly selaku salah satu anggota tim. “Semoga semakin sukses dan berjaya. Terus semangat untuk berkarya dan menjadi jurnalis muda yang bermanfaat,” imbuh Bu Devi selaku pembina tim yang juga pembina ekstrakurikuler Jurnalistik SMK PGRI 2 Kediri. (Dina)
