GELAR P5 DENGAN TEMA “SUARA DEMOKRASI”
Dalam rangka menyambut pemilihan ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS (Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah), SMK PGRI 2 Kediri pada Jumat (13/10) mengadakan sosialisasi bersama KPU Kota Kediri di Grida’s Auditorium. Sosialisasi tersebut merupakan rangkaian dari kegiatan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dengan tema “Suara Demokrasi”.
Acara ini dibuka dengan sambutan dari Kepala Sekolah, yaitu Bapak Ulul Mustagfirin M.Pd. Beliau mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan kokulikuler yang wajib diikuti oleh seluruh siswa agar di masa depan menjadi pemimpin-pemimpin yang sukses.
Seluruh siswa menyimak materi yang disampaikan oleh Bapak Moch. Wahyudi selaku divisi Sosdiklih Parmas dan SDM (Sosialiasi Pendidikan Pemilih, Pastisipasi Masyarakat dan Sumber Daya Manusia) dari KPU Kota Kediri dengan baik. Beliau menyampaikan tentang apa itu Pemilu (Pemilihan Umum), bagaimana sistem pemilu di Indonesia, dan bagaimana proses di TPS (Tempat Pemungutan Suara). Di sela-sela penyampaian materi, diselingi dengan jargon-jargon untuk menambah semangat seluruh siswa. Terdapat pembagian hadiah dan terdapat sesi tanya jawab untuk mengatasi rasa penasaran siswa terkait Pemilu.
Tujuan dari diadakannya acara ini juga untuk sosialisasi saat pemilihan ketua OSIS di SMK PGRI 2 Kediri. Acara berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Para siswa juga tak ragu untuk mengajukan pertanyaaan terkait topik yang dibahas. Salah seorang siswi yaitu Rizma Nur Janah dari XI MPLB 4 saat ditanya, dirinya mengaku merasa senang karena mendapat banyak hal yang dipelajari dan sedikit mengerti tentang apa itu demokrasi. “Semoga dengan kegiatan ini, teman-teman yang sudah berumur 17 tahun ke atas bisa jujur dan tidak terkena iming-iming dapat uang dari partai manapun dalam memilih calon pemimpin,” tutupnya dalam wawancara tersebut.
