Festival Bunda Cinta Rebana
Pada tanggal 22 Januari 2022 SMK PGRI 2 Kediri mengadakan acara Festival Bunda Cinta Rebana yang didominasi oleh ibu-ibu majelis taklim. Acara ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka memperingati Dies Natalis SMK PGRI 2 Kediri yang ke-45 tahun. Tujuan diadakannya acara ini yaitu agar semua orang semakin cinta kepada Rasulullah SAW sekaligus memperkenalkan SMK PGRI 2 Kediri kepada khalayak umum bahwa SMK PGRI 2 Kediri mempunyai fasilitas yang lengkap dan gedung yang megah yang dapat digunakan untuk acara besar, seperti Festival Bunda Cinta Rebana ini.
Acara ini melibatkan banyak orang, tentunya seluruh warga sekolah, baik Kepala Sekolah, Bapak Ibu Guru dan Karyawan, serta Organisasi dan Ekstrakurikuler siswa SMK PGRI 2 Kediri, tidak lupa ibu-ibu majelis taklim se-karesidenan Kediri. Jumlah seluruh panitia yang bertugas di acara ini adalah sekitar 80 orang dengan persiapan acara selama kurang lebih satu bulan. Acara ini dilaksanakan di Grida’s Auditorium SMK PGRI 2 Kediri dan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari, hari pertama 22 peserta dan hari kedua sekitar 26 peserta. Acara ini dilaksanakan pada pukul 09.00-15.30 WIB.
Salah satu dewan juri di acara lomba ini adalah Pak Amir, beliau berasal dari Kecamatan Kandat, Kabupaten Kediri. “Saya mengira acara ini diikuti oleh 10 sampai 20 kelompok saja. Namun ketika acara terlaksana, ternyata ada sekitar 50 peserta yang mengikuti lomba. Festival Bunda Cinta Rebana ini adalah terobosan baru di Kediri. Adanya lomba ini semoga bisa memacu kota-kota lain untuk melaksanakan acara serupa.” Ucapnya. Beliau berharap, setelah diadakannya acara ini semoga bisa menjadikan Kediri sebagai Kota Sholawat.
Dahniar Nada Maharani Putri dan Nova Safitri Firdausi adalah salah satu peserta lomba beranggotakan 15 orang. Mereka mewakili tim Ahdatul Ulul dari SMKN 1 Ngasem. Alasan mereka mengikuti Festival Bunda Cinta Rebana yaitu untuk mengembangkan bakat dan menambah pengalaman. Mereka tahu agenda lomba ini dari media sosial WhatsApp. “Senang tapi sedikit gugup. Semoga setelah mengikuti lomba ini bisa lebih semangat dan bakat kami lebih terasah lagi.” Ujar Dahniar dan Nova.
Ibu Nurholifah juga salah satu peserta yang berasal dari tim Darul Hikmah dari Ngronggo kota Kediri. “Mengikuti lomba ini untuk menambah wawasan, memupuk silaturahmi dengan sesama muslim. Saya tahu agenda lomba ini dari Pak Yahya Afandi. Saya sangat bersemangat, antusias, dan bahagia. Saya mengikuti lomba ini untuk menggemakan sholawat nabi di Kota Kediri. Semoga setelah mengikuti acara ini pengalaman dan wawasan saya bertambah, sehingga bisa lebih lagi ke depannya.” Ujar Ibu Nurholifah.
