SMK PGRI 2 Kediri telah mengadakan pemilihan ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS (Pilketos) masa bakti 2023/2024. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengenalkan demokrasi kepada seluruh siswa. Pada Senin (16/10), setelah kegiatan apel pagi di halaman sekolah, OSIS Grida mengadakan orasi calon ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS. Selanjutnya pada hari Rabu (18/10) di Grida’s Auditorium diselenggarakan pemungutan suara dengan menerapkan asas LUBER JURDIL (Langsung, Umum, Bebas, Rahasia, Jujur, dan Adil).

Acara Pilketos berlangsung dengan tertib, bertanggung jawab, dan lancar sehingga tidak menimbulkan konflik setelah pelaksanaan Pilketos. Alur pemilihan untuk siswa kelas X dan XI dilakukan secara bergantian, sedangkan untuk siswa kelas XII dan seluruh guru melalui google form.

Nama calon ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS pasangan nomor satu yaitu Fitria Suci Wulandari dan Maulana Hasby Asshidqy. Pasangan nomor dua Nayaka zhafira Zahra dan Laura Marcellina, dan yang terakhir pasangan nomor tiga Elsa aprellia Puspita Dewi dan Syava Atul Udma. Ketiga calon tersebut sangat bersemangat menunggu hasil pemungutan suara. Belum berhenti sampai di situ, pengumuman hasil suara tidak diumumkan pada hari itu juga.

Selanjutnya pada Senin (30/10), di halaman sekolah diadakan serah terima jabatan (sertijab) ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS masa bakti 2023/2024. Seluruh siswa berbaris di lapangan dan antusias menunggu siapa yang menjadi ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS. Pengumuman disampaikan langsung oleh pembina OSIS dan menyatakan Nayaka zhafira zahra (XI DKV 2) sebagai ketua OSIS dan Laura Marcellina sebagai wakil ketua OSIS (X DKV 2) yang berasal dari pasangan nomor 2. Fitria Suci Wulandari (XI MPLB 3) sebagai sekretaris dan Maulana Hasby Asshidqy (X DKV 1) sebagai wakil sekretaris. Elsa Aprellia Puspita Dewi (XI MPLB 1) sebagai bendahara dan Syava Atul Udma (X AKL 1) sebagai wakil bendahara.

“Sebelum kalian memimpin orang lain, kalian harus bisa memimpin diri sendiri terlebih dahulu. Setelah itu tugas kalian pada akhirnya melayani atau memiliki kebermanfaatan terhadap orang lain,” ujar Bapak Ulul Mustagfirin selaku pembina apel saat Sertijab OSIS.

Kesan dari acara ini sangat luar biasa dikarenakan pemilihan ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS juga merupakan salah satu dari program P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) untuk kelas X dan XI yang bertema suara demokrasi.

“Semoga anak-anak mendapatkan pengalaman bagaimana itu demokrasi meskipun di dalam skala kecil tingkat sekolah, mengingat mungkin di tahun depan khususnya untuk kelas XII bisa menjadi pemilih pemula di Pilpres 2024, sedangkan untuk kelas X dan XI tentu menjadi ilmu pendidikan demokrasi awal yang paling sederhana sebelum mereka nanti ada pendidikan di tingkat demokrasi berikutnya,” tutur bapak Sugito selaku pembina OSIS.
